About these terms

These terms describe how LedBy works today. They are written by us and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. The seller and provider of this service is 1Schedule Holdings, Inc. (file number B20260262729), doing business as LedBy ("LedBy", "we", "us"), including via getledby.com. These terms are an agreement between you and LedBy. You can contact us at hello@getledby.com. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you accept these terms.

Your account and page

You need an account to publish an instructor page. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of what you publish. Your public handle is yours for as long as your account is active. Handles are unique and first come, first served.

Your community

Students who join your community give consent to hear from you and from LedBy on the channels they select. You may only contact them on those channels and about the classes and updates they signed up for. You are prohibited from importing, selling, or sharing their contact details, and you are required to honour every unsubscribe request.

Acceptable use

Do not use LedBy to publish unlawful, misleading, or harmful content, to impersonate someone else, or to collect contact details under false pretenses. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Our intellectual property

LedBy owns the service and everything we put into it: the software, the design, the LedBy name and logo, the generated QR codes and share templates, and our documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under your chosen plan. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or work around the technical limits of the service. You keep ownership of the content you publish — your profile, class details, and photos — and you grant us the limited license we need to host and display that content in order to run the service.

Unclaimed directory listings

Some instructor and studio pages on LedBy are unclaimed listings. We build listings from publicly available information, usually including names, locations, disciplines taught, publicly listed venues or schedules, and public website or social links. An unclaimed listing simply republishes such information. It does not mean or even suggest the person or studio is affiliated with or uses LedBy. It does not mean that such person or studio has joined, has been verified by us, endorses us, or partners with us, and we never present it that way.

If a listing refers to you or your business, you can claim it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove it at any time from the page itself or through hello@getledby.com. Claiming is a request, not an automatic grant: we review all such requests and may ask for reasonable verification that you are who you say you are before we grant editing rights. Submitting a false claim, or claiming a page for someone else without authority, is a breach of these terms. Unauthorized impersonation and identity theft are prohibited in all forms.

If you upload an image, a logo, or any other content to LedBy, you confirm you own it or have the right to use it, and that publishing it here does not infringe anyone else’s rights. We may remove, suppress, or restrict any listing or content that raises concerns about rights, privacy, authenticity, safety or intellectual property rights, and we may keep an internal record of such removal for our internal use or reference.

Appearing in the directory, claiming a page, or contacting us about a listing does not sign you up for marketing. Marketing consent must be given separately. Our directory listing policy explains this in plain English.

Swap and studio accounts

Swap is our substitute-coverage product for studios. It is free forever for every studio and every location, and it is the way most studios start with LedBy. A studio account is created and administered by a person who confirms they are authorized to act for that studio. We may ask for reasonable verification of that authority before we grant admin rights, and we may reverse an assignment if we conclude we were misled, mistaken or for other appropriate reasons.

Where a studio connects a scheduling system it already uses (for example a calendar feed or a supported scheduling provider) and authorizes us to read it, we may import locations, classes, instructor names and other data in that schedule. From that import we create or link a studio presence and instructor listings so the studio’s team can be rostered for coverage. Listings created this way will remain unclaimed until claimed by the corresponding instructor. They will be labelled like all other unclaimed listings and will not represent or suggest that such instructor has joined LedBy. A person featured in an unclaimed listing cannot message anyone, and the instructor can claim, correct or remove them as described above. A studio cannot claim a page on an instructor’s behalf, cannot message that instructor’s students, and does not own the relationship between an instructor and their students nor have any right to the instructor’s name or likeness.

By connecting or sharing a schedule or roster, you represent to us that you have the right to do so. You must advise your team that their professional details are being used to set up coverage. Depending on your integration, connecting a system may be read-only; we do not write changes back into a studio’s scheduling provider unless that integration is live and you have enabled it.

Credits, Pro Credits and Points

LedBy has three separate units, each distinct and none of which converts into either of the others, and none of which is transferable between accounts:

• Credits are student-facing offering credits. Where LedBy supports this model, a student may use Credits to access eligible classes or offerings under the eligibility and redemption rules actually configured for that offering. Credits are not legal tender, not a general purpose payment instrument, not a bank deposit, and not redeemable for cash except where the law requires it. Purchasing Credits is not enabled for everyone yet; where it is not enabled, no purchase is offered or taken.
• Pro Credits are professional usage capacity bought by instructors and studios and consumed by supported professional usage — today, email and text sending. Pro Credits are never student booking credits and cannot be spent on classes.
• Points are loyalty and reward units awarded by LedBy for verified activity under our rules. Points are not transferable, are not money, not stored value, not property, and not redeemable for cash. They may unlock LedBy capabilities, or rewards a studio or instructor chooses to offer, for as long as those rewards are offered. We may adjust or reverse Points awarded in error or through abuse, and we may change the earning rules going forward.

Classes, Experiences and Private Sessions

Instructors and studios — not LedBy — run the classes, Experiences (our umbrella for workshops, retreats and similar offerings) and Private Sessions listed here. They set the description, price, capacity, cancellation approach and what actually happens in the room, and they are responsible for performing, delivering and hosting Experiences and for holding all required licenses and otherwise complying with applicable laws and regulations, insurance or qualifications their activity requires.

Private Sessions are free to enable and free to run. Today the payment option that works is paying the instructor directly, outside LedBy: LedBy is not involved in that money, takes no fee from it, and is not a party to it. LedBy-handled payment for Private Sessions is not live; where the product describes it, it is described as coming later and nothing is charged.

Where a listing links out to a studio’s own booking system, following that link takes a user to a third-party site such that any booking, payment, membership or cancellation happens with them under their terms beyond the control, supervision or involvement of any kind by us. LedBy does not enroll you, hold your booking, or take your payment on that path, and we are not responsible for what the studio does with it.

Plans, payment and cancellation

A LedBy profile is free forever and Swap (substitute management) is free forever for every studio and every location. Only these charges exist:

• Premium apps — 100 Pro Credits for 30 days. Each premium app is unlocked per instructor or per studio location for 30 days at a time; unlocks never renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel. The same apps can instead be unlocked with LedBy Points you earn from ordinary teaching, at no cost.
• LedBy Pro Credits — pay as you go. Email and text messaging is usage-based, not a subscription: $10 for 200 Pro Credits, $20 for 500 and $50 for 1,500. Users may purchase Pro Credits when needed and do not renew automatically unless automatic top-up is activated. They are separate from LedBy Credits and LedBy Points, and none of the three convert into another.
• Branding — included free. Your colors and logo are included with any purchase, points unlock or Pro Credits package.

Prices are shown at checkout and are exclusive of any tax which may be added there. Premium app unlocks last 30 days and never renew automatically; when an unlock ends, the app simply locks again until you choose to re-unlock it.

SMS activation fee. Enabling text messaging on your own dedicated number carries a one-time $99 activation fee, which covers carrier brand and campaign registration. The fee is waived during our private beta. Paying it does not guarantee that a provider or a mobile carrier will approve your registration. Carriers make those decisions, not us. If the fee is charged, refund eligibility is reviewed based on whether third-party registration or provisioning costs or work have already been incurred on your behalf. We do not promise an automatic refund of this fee, and we will tell you honestly what applies in your case.

One-time Pro Credits packs. If you need more than your free monthly promotional Pro Credits, you can buy a pack: 200 Pro Credits for $10, 500 for $20, or 1,500 for $50. Promotional credits are always used first; purchased packs are used only once the promotional allowance for that month is exhausted.

Metering. Email is metered per recipient send and text is metered per SMS segment, as counted by our delivery providers. The free monthly promotional allowance resets each month and unused promotional credits do not roll over; purchased pack credits never expire. We never bill automatic overages: when your balance is exhausted, sending stops until the next monthly grant or until you buy a pack.

Messaging features are being rolled out gradually. Access to email and SMS campaigns is granted by us on a per-account basis, requires acceptance of our Messaging Policy, and text messaging additionally requires carrier registration that we cannot guarantee or accelerate. Buying Pro Credits does not by itself unlock the ability to send via SMS.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which includes a 30-day money-back guarantee on LedBy software purchases.

Payments are processed by Stripe. LedBy software is sold by 1Schedule Holdings, Inc. Classes, events, workshops, retreats and private sessions are sold by the instructor or studio hosting them, who is paid directly and is responsible for delivering what was booked and for their own cancellation terms. LedBy charges the host a platform fee on those sales.

Messaging rules

Consent only. You may only message people who gave you their contact details and agreed to hear from you on that channel. You may not upload, import, buy, rent, share or scrape a list, and you may not message contacts collected by anyone other than you. We may ask you to show how a contact opted in.

Prohibited content. You may not send anything unlawful, deceptive or misleading, harassing or threatening, hateful or discriminatory, sexually explicit or adult, dangerous or safety-critical, or anything that is unsolicited bulk messaging, phishing or otherwise abusive. Content restricted by carriers — including messages about controlled substances, firearms, gambling, high-risk financial offers and similar categories — is also not permitted.

Your responsibility. Regardless of who may have helped you source or draft your content, you are the sender. You are responsible for the content of your messages, for the lawfulness of your list, and for complying with the rules that apply where your recipients are.

Opt-outs and suppression. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and every text accepts STOP. Unsubscribes, STOP replies, bounces and spam complaints are enforced by LedBy at send time and add the address to a suppression list that you cannot override.

Our controls. LedBy and its delivery providers control sending resources — including sending domains, dedicated phone numbers, messaging services and rate limits — and these remain ours, not yours. We may pause, throttle, suspend or withdraw messaging for an account at any time if we believe these rules are being broken or delivery is putting other instructors at risk, and we may do so without notice where the risk is immediate. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to the service if you materially break these terms, if payment for a paid plan fails and is not resolved, if we suspect fraud or any risk to the security of the service or its users, or if you repeatedly or seriously break the acceptable use rules above. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to cure. You can stop using LedBy at any time and ask us to delete your data.

Availability

LedBy is offered as-is while we build it. Features may change and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. You can stop using LedBy at any time and request deletion of your data.
