Substitute coverage, answered
- How do I find a substitute instructor for a class?
- Post the class to your studio's cover board in Swap. Every instructor on your roster sees the open class, the ones who can teach it say so, and a manager approves the cover — no group text, no phone tree.
- Who approves a substitute?
- You choose. In manager approval, a studio manager confirms every cover. In pre-approved mode, any rostered instructor you have already cleared can claim the class outright.
- What happens if nobody picks up the class?
- Swap escalates: the request widens from the class's usual instructors to the full roster, and the manager sees an unfilled class before class day instead of an hour before it starts.
- What does substitute coverage cost?
- Swap core is free forever for every studio — requesting cover, responding and approving a substitute never costs anything. Paid LedBy capabilities are separate, belong to the individual instructor, and are always optional.
